Actions and Uses:
Sounth (Zingiber officinale), Kalimirch (Piper nigrum) Pippli (Piper longum)– The combination of three act as a digestive and relieves dyspepsia and acid peptic ulcers.
Hirda (Terminalia chebula), Behda (Terminalia bellerica), Amla (Emblica officialis)– the combination of these three rasayana drugs which is known as ‘Triphala’ is very useful in general debility and wasting diseases. Relieves constipation, stimulates appetite, and tones up metabolism.
Ajowan (Trachyspermum ammi)– Antispetic, stomachic, carminative, stimulant and tonic. Useful in diarrhoea, atonic dyspepsia, colic, flatulence and indigestion; it improves general functioning of digestive system.
Vaividang (Embelia ribes)– Alternative and tonic.
Nagarmotha (Cyperus rotundus)– Useful in chronic diarrhoea and indigestion; improves functioning of digestive system.
