Uses and properties:

• Kaphavaatashamak (calms down vitiated Kapha and VaataDosha), acts as antimicrobial, Raktotkleshak(Vitiates RaktaDhatu).
• Deepan (stimulates digestion), Truptighna (clears sensation of fullness), Vaatanuloman, Shoolprashaman (decreases painful stimulus), mild laxative.
• Kaas-Shwaashar (lowers coughing and asthma), relieves Hikka(hiccups), Garbhashaysankochak (increases contractions of uterus).
• Useful in Aruchi (tastelessness), Agnimandya, Ajeerna(indigestion), Vibandha, Gulma, Udarshool (pain in abdomen), Arsh (hemorrhoids), liver disorders, splenomegaly.
• Useful in Vishamjwar (fever with uneven recurrences), Pratishyay (sinusitis), KaphajJwar (diseases due to vitiated KaphaDosha).

Triturated with: Pippali Kwath.

Indications: Kaas, Shwaas, Agnimandya.

Weight per tablet: 125 mg.

Dose: 1 to 2 tab twice a day.

Anupan: Lukewarm water, Honey.
